Responsibilities:

1. Follow company procedures and guidelines.
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems.
3. Perform the following engine machining procedures: align boring, boring, counter boring and decking blocks; boring out, installing and machining upper/lower liner sleeves and counter bore sleeves; magnaflux, straighten and grind crankshafts; lathe and mill work.
4. Use good judgment to make independent decisions, maintain a safe environment and an organized work place.

Requirements:

1. Applicant must have a minimum of three years experience in engine related machining.
2. Must have the aptitude to troubleshoot and repair machine shop equipment.
3. Must have basic tool set and other tools needed to perform in this position with the exception of specialty micrometers, dial bore gauges, etc.
4. Experience in crack repair, welding and CNC equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
5. Must have a positive attitude, good people skills and function effectively with a team.
6. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
7. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
